Marian Anderson Scholars Competition Concert, Dinner and Celebrity Ball

This event will be celebrated in Memory of the late Philadelphia native Contralto, Marian Anderson. Hosted by the Marian Anderson Historical Society, the event will help raise financial resources to advance aspiring young opera and classical vocal artists of great promise. Mervon Mehta will return to Philadelphia from the Royal Conservatory of Toronto to MC the concert. Following the concert under the stars in the planetarium, guests will be escorted to the Franklin Room for dinner and ball featuring celebrities (TBA) and for your dancing and listening pleasure, the Marian Anderson Historical Society Tribute Orchestra. I am very pleased to be serving as accompanist for this concert event!
