This is short notice (but if you're on Facebook with me you'll know this!)  I've joined a new band called "RESCUE DAWGS jam band" and tonight will be our first gig at Dr. Lou's Place in Roebling, NJ.  So come out & join in - at Dr. Lou's there's always open mic/jamming time for everyone, and it should be a great party!  (See below for further dates coming up in Atlantic City.)

This Friday (May 1) I'll be helping to host an open mic event at the VFW in Burlington, NJ.  I usually sit and jam with almost everyone, because it's a great bunch of musicians - kind of like my 'dream' event whenever I go.  I play everything from Elvis to Johnny Cash to classic rock and roll - you name it and probably someone is there to play it.  I might have to try to sneak in a Dead tune this time - ha ha!  It starts at 8 p.m. - hope to see you there.

It has been just over a year since I have released my double CD "My Red Car", which includes a number of original songs, as well as my cover of the Garcia/Hunter tune Brokedown Palace, and a special bonus CD of instrumental versions of the vocal songs (with me on flute.)  It is an eclectic collection of music, Americana influenced - a bit of blues, swing, jazz, ballads, featuring some great performances by other musicians who joined me on this project.
