New Album! - November 20, 2008

I have just reviewed the final proofs for my new album, called 'Piano Expressions'. This album is continuing a musical journey that began with my album 'Piano Impressions', and includes blues music of New Orleans and classic rock standards, as well as a few other musical diversions and original compositions mixed in. As always, the music interpretation is foremost, both in the arrangements and improvised solos - an "eclectic contemporary styling with a classical ethos".

I expect to be picking up the album directly from the manufacture (estimated date is Dec. 4), and within a few days from that time the music should be available for download at Dig Station, through DiscMakers. It will be a few more weeks for CD Baby to offer the CD on-line, and they will be sending it to iTunes and other internet sites.

I'm very excited about my new album, and I hope you enjoy it!

Please send good thoughts my way as I prepare this undertaking!

Recital Review - June 2, 2008

I have received a review of a recital I gave at Muhlenberg College, Allentown, by Dr. Douglas Ovens, Professor and Chair of Music Department (see Press/Reviews). This was a formal recital that included a Scarlatti Sonata, a Chopin Ballade, and music from my album, as well as music of New Orleans piano players James Booker and Professor Longhair. It was truly a program of piano across the centuries, and very exciting to perform!

Going back to the studio this summer! - April 1, 2008
