Hi Everyone!

Just a brief newsletter with a few updates!

Tonight I'll be at the Burlington, NJ VFW from 8 p.m. - 12 a.m. with my keyboard, jamming with whoever happens to stop by.  This open mic is rock & acoustic, with a touch of country once in awhile.  I'm set up with my keyboard and I usually do a lot of playing, so I hope to see some of you out there.  (It's the 1st Friday of the month, so check my website, send me an e-mail or check in with me on Facebook to see if I'll be there - I make most of them!).

Tomorrow afternoon (Sat. Mar.5 at 4 p.m.) is the Marian Anderson Guild's "Splendid Evening" program.  I'll be both accompanist and soloist on this event, which also includes Melissa Perry, Edra Chandler, Ronald Campbell, Christopher Andrew Maier, the Gloucester County Children's Choir and the Camden Creative Arts High School Choir.  It will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Route 70, Cherry Hill (beside Barclay Farms Shopping Plaza).

On Saturday, Mar. 19, I will be accompanist for a spirituals workshop by Dr. Lourin Plant, Rowan University, sponsored by the Marian Anderson Guild.  This will be 9 a.m. at Grace Church Recital Hall, Haddonfield, NJ.

Then on Sat. Mar. 26, I will be joining TK & the Howlers, a band that plays blues (and more!) at Clancy's Pub, Sewell, NJ.  I have a few dates coming up this summer with them - including Bogey's in May,  an outdoor concert in Absecon on July 31, Red, Hot & Blue, Cherry Hill in September, and the Greenwood Inn in October.

Speaking of the Greenwood, I am there most Wed. nights, with keyboard in tow - laying down some cool blues sounds.  We're talking B3, piano keys, and everything in between.  It's always a pleasure, and we never know who's going to show up.  So come on out, and you'll hear the blues & everything that's related to the blues!  And I have some other possible dates with several other bands - I'll update my website as things get finalized.

I am still active with Musicians On Call - I played at Our Lady of Lourdes this past Wed., and next month I'll be at University of Penn Hospital.  Plus I am still teaching piano at St. Cecilia's School, playing the church service for Martin Luther School, and teaching at my private studio - flute, piano and voice (also music theory, ear training, ukulele, beg. banjo.  So if you know of someone in the South Jersey area looking for lessons please give them my name!

That's all for now.  (Guess this newsletter wasn't as brief as I thought it would be!)  Hope to see you soon.  And be sure to check in at my website or on Facebook for upcoming events.

Take care,

Lore Constantine
