My new single of the Garcia/Hunter tune China Doll is listed for the next several weeks under "Recent Releases" on the website deaddisc.com, which is an ever-expanding discography of recordings related to the Grateful Dead and Bay Area music. They have provided a separate page for my recording and have linked it to CD Baby, where its available for sale. A big thank you goes out to them for their support, and I'm glad they like the song!

Check out a video of me playing Ripple at Woodstock Trading Company, Cherry Hill, NJ. Hope you enjoy Mugsy the cat, my biggest fan that day! (For some reason, whenever I play at Woodstock Trading Company I seem to communicate with small creatures. This past summer it was a bird that sang along with me on several songs!)

Mugsy the cat watched and listened for at least an hour.
On December 9, I had the honor of playing on a Holiday concert at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. In addition to the concert which was broadcast in-house to wounded soldiers, I was also able to play in the lobby both before and after the show.
Please click on the following link to see a clip from the conert - "Stairway to Heaven" (although the sound is a bit soft on the video.)

I found out the morning of the show that Allison Krauss and Dan Tyminsky had been planning on coming up for the show, but were unable to fly due to bad weather. While it would have been exciting to be on the same show with them, the real story here is the wounded soldiers and staff at Walter Reed. Hopefully our music provided a respite and comfort in this Holiday season. I would urge anyone who is looking for a cause to donate to either Musicians On Call www.musiciansoncall.org or the Combat Veteran Sports Foundation www.combatvetsports.org which sponsored our concert at Walter Reed.
Chuck Elliott of XPN, Philadelphia played my version of "Takes My Breath Away" on his Saturday morning edition of "Sleepy Hollow" yesterday. A special thank you goes out to Chuck for continuing to support and play my music!
I'm looking forward to a different Holiday experience this year. I will be playing in a Holiday Concert at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. on Dec. 9. This will be a private concert hosted by the Combat Veteran Sports Foundation Musicians. They contacted Musicians On Call (in which I participate) for volunteers. I am proud to be on this program, and hope that my music will bring some support and comfort to those who may not be able to be home for the Holidays.
